NCKCN - Process & Progress

Wednesday, April 4, 2000 The project is now four days old and the team has gone almost two blocks east of the City Building down Patterson Street, laying in 6-inch pipe. This is one of the worst stretches of pipe in the community, having been patched any number of times in the past. The team is happy with their effort and are beginning to better understand their respective roles.
	This picture looks north down Howe Street. Pipe can be seen laying on the ground in preparation for the coming trench. The line is 42-inches deep.

Eight-inch pipe has also been laid out to the tower. Plans are to link up the tower as quickly as possible once the line has been laid along Patterson Street between Main and Omio Streets. Most think this will happen next week.
