Lincoln County Comprehensive Project

The 1997 Lincoln County project was truly county wide.  It involved improvement of a road serving the Sylvan Grove Sale Barn; housing rehabilitation in Beverly, Lincoln Center, Sylvan Grove, the unincorporated place of Vesper as well as rural residences in the county; the remodeling of the "Bud Finch Theater" in Lincoln; and the construction of an addition at the Mid-America Health Care nursing home in Lincoln.   While much of the work was contracted out, that associated with the "Bud Finch Theater" involved hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of volunteer labor.     

The photograph below shows the final look of the addition to Mid-America Health Care in Lincoln.
