Tuesday,
August 15, 2000
The following photographs were
taken by Marilyn Graham during her recent visit which carried over
into Wednesday, August 16th.

Vickie
Stafford looks on from the shade as Carl Studer, Howard
Field, Steve Spiegel and Bob Elwell monitor the
depth James Haskins is reaching with the backhoe, watching for
an old waterline.

Linda
Hunsicker, KDOCH
representative, stands talking to Greg Duryea of the Kansas
Rural Water Association and an unidentified observer.

|
A
typical scene.
Everyone does his/her part when the time comes. Right now,
nothing can be done until the trench is dug.
|
|
At
times, frustration can rule the day. While difficult to see, the
crew (at left) has hit an old waterline. Now the task is to
mend it and go on.
At right is an unknown bureaucrat whose curiosity caused him to stop
by to see what all the fuss was about.
