Friday, September 22, 2000 The system now has water throughout and the crew is catching their breath and taking stock of what they have done. Now, only tag ends remain, which is one of the most difficult stages of a large project and the least interesting. Nonetheless, the work must be done to achieve total completion and James Haskins is making a list of those items. The city's contract with the state comes due October 1, 2000. A short extension is being requested by the city to permit enough time to complete the project in a proper manner.
