AM -- With no new leaks appearing over night, the team begins laying new pipe again today, going north from Patterson on Howe Street.  The plan is to lay both this block plus a service line to the only house on the block before nightfall, tying it off with the installation of a fire hydrant at the north end.  

Focus tomorrow will turn to finishing Patterson to Omio, as well as linking the new line to the tower.  That will enable the city to pressure test the new line and then consider the abandonment of the old 8-inch line on Patterson that has caused so many problems over the years.
