- Beloit Country Club
- We
are about one week away from the next Tournament at the Beloit
Country Club (738-3184). The Tournament is a His 'n Hers (modified) scramble,
which is scheduled for June 1, 2002. We start at 10:00 a.m. The rules
(Chapman Rules) are slightly different from a regular scramble.
- Both team members hit Tee shots on every hole.
Then he hits her ball and she hits his. Next they select which
ball they want to play and if they pick the ball the woman just
hit, it is the man's turn and vice verse. They continue to
alternate shots to the hole.
- On the par three holes, you both hit Tee shots
and then select which ball you want to play. Again, if the man's
Tee shot is selected the woman takes the next shot. I hope that is
clear.
- The golf course is in great shape and the entry
fee is only $40 per team. Let us know if you are interested and we
will enter your team. You can show up before 10:00 a.m. on
Saturday the 1st of June and we will still enter your team but a
little advance warning of your arrival makes the registration a
little easier. If you must back out at the last minute we will
understand.
